Draft for legal review. A plain-language summary of the intended terms. The signed agreement governs.
Platform terms
Ownership. Aevantos owns the software, its schema and the compliance rules as encoded, and may license the platform to other firms. The firm owns every record it or its clients put into it, and its own name and brand.
Licence. The firm's licence to use the platform runs for as long as its subscription does. Pricing is a one-time onboarding fee and then the subscription, as set out in the firm's order.
Your data, at any time. The firm can export everything — every table as a spreadsheet, every document in its original form, and the audit trail — at any time and without charge, from its own settings.
When the subscription ends. The workspace becomes read-only for 180 days: everything can still be read and exported, and nothing new can be added. After that the data are returned and then deleted, and the deletion is confirmed in writing. The right to export survives the end of the licence. A failed payment is not an ending.
Personal data. The firm is the data fiduciary for its clients' personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and Aevantos its data processor, under a processing agreement.
What the software does not do. It computes statutory due dates from the information the firm gives it, and shows the provision behind each one; it does not decide a client's liability, and its dates are not professional advice. Filing and signing are done by the firm.
